FALKEN pilot Yoshihide Muroya is victorious at the Red Bull Air Race at Lausitzring

FALKEN pilot Yoshihide Muroya scooped his third win this season in the penultimate Red Bull Air Race, held at Lausitzring on 17 September. Yoshihide easily coasted through the finish gate after 50.451 seconds, emerging victorious ahead of Australian Matt Hall and top World Championship contender Martin Sonka from the Czech Republic. The new result places him second in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, only four points behind the leader, Martin Sonka. The event was the third Red Bull Air Race to take place at Lausitzring and attracted over 30,000 spectators over the exciting weekend. “We're delighted that Yoshihide has notched up yet another win and are confident that he will continue to build on this success in the last race, to be held in Indianapolis in mid-October. Like our FALKEN brand, the Red Bull Air Race stands for high-tech, inspiration and performance. The combination of action and lifestyle which characterises the event is enormously popular; it is equally impactful as a live experience and as high-reach content for advertising and PR activities", says Stephan Cimbal, Head of Marketing Europe at Falken Tyre Europe.
