With seven out of ten points, the FALKEN ZE310 ECORUN has been awarded the rating of “Good” in the summer tyre test by auto motor sport magazine. Eleven summer tyres in the dimensions 195/55R16 H were put through their paces on the VW Polo and SEAT IBIZA test cars.
Once again, an independent test has demonstrated that the FALKEN ZE310 ECORUN performs particularly well when it comes to safety-related criteria: the Falken summer tyres achieved the maximum score in the categories of longitudinal aquaplaning (km/h) and transverse aquaplaning (m/s2), making them pretty much unbeatable in these tests, with ten out of ten points. The Falken tyre also performed consistently well in the other criteria, such as braking distance, lateral guidance and handling, scoring between 7 and 8 of a maximum of 10 possible points. Overall, the Falken tyre is just 1.1 points behind the test winner in the “performance in wet driving conditions” category.
The results for the driving performance on dry asphalt were also impressive: the critics found the tyres to offer “good control on dry curves with slow steering responses” and to provide “good residual grip” in this test category. All in all, the FALKEN ZE310 ECORUN scored 6.9 points in this area, putting it less than one point behind the average number of points.

The FALKEN ZIEX ZE310 ECORUN has been available at retailers since May 2019, and is a summer tyre from the latest generation. Thanks to the use of latest tyre development technology, this Falken tyre has excellent traction and grip on wet and dry roads as well as outstanding wear resistance. The tyre, which is popular with both performance-oriented drivers and those who don’t want to sacrifice driving comfort, is now available in 124 sizes from 14 – 19 inches in the 35 – 70 series, and is approved for the speed classes H/V/W (210 – 270 km/h).
Falken Tyre Europe GmbH is once again sending out a strong signal for social engagement by participating in the Orange Days with its own in-house campaign. The “Orange the World” campaign launched by the UN attracts attention from November 25th on for 16 days every year and calls for an end to gender-based violence.
Falken is extending its popular ‘fill up’ campaign until December 15th. Launched in September, the promotion rewards customers who buy a set of Falken tyres, with a voucher which can be spent on fuel or in-store goods.
