In summer tyre tests held by leading German motoring magazine Auto Zeitung, the Falken Azenis FK510 is ranked highly among premium tyre brands for compact cars.

All the tyres tested were in size 225/45 R17 and were fitted on a Seat Leon SC 1.4 TSI ACT as test vehicle. Falken tyres delivered particularly remarkable performance in wet conditions; in full braking from 100 km/h on a wet track, the Azenis FK510 came to a standstill in only 50 metres, just 0.6 m behind the highest-scoring tyre. In addition, the Azenis FK510 achieved excellent results in aquaplaning and handling, and in wet conditions showed superb directional stability: „In the wet, Michelin, Continental and Falken drive in a league of their own“, state the tester. But the Falken Azenis FK510 also proved its quality in dry conditions too, with impressive directional stability to match the tyre's already top-notch performance in the wet. “The FK510's cornering was very swift and stable, even in rapid lane changes", noted the test drivers approvingly.

Auto Zeitung gave the tyre an overall “Highly Recommended" rating. “We are delighted at the results", says Markus Bögner, Managing Director and COO of Falken Tyre Europe, adding “This is the seventh tyre test seal of quality in succession for the Azenis FK510. These high rankings are clear proof of the success of our sophisticated development and test procedures."
