Falken is all ready for winter! In addition to adding numerous sizes to its range of winter tyres, this season Falken is also offering a new size of the Falken EUROALL SEASON AS220 PRO all-season tyre.
The current models in the Falken EUROWINTER HS02 and HS02 PRO winter product lines are now available in 68 and 85 different sizes, respectively. Both models offer a distinctive look, with their dynamic sidewall design and numerous innovative technical features. The extreme weather conditions during winter place different demands on tyres than when driving on dry roads. That’s why it’s particularly important to have good grip in wet conditions, but also well-balanced grip in snowy, wet and dry conditions. Thanks to state-of-the-art development and production processes, both Falken products feature outstanding winter performance and offer impressive fuel efficiency and longer tyre life times.
Falken tyres are specially developed and produced to offer exceptional resistance to aquaplaning. In the case of the Falken EUROWINTER HS02, a symmetrical and directional V-profile increases water drainage, while on the HS02 PRO an asymmetrical three-zone tread provides extra safety in wet conditions. Due to this tread design and its approval for high speeds, the Falken EUROWINTER HS02 PRO is aimed squarely at the performance-oriented drivers of passenger cars and SUVs in the winter UHP segment, which is new for Falken.
The Falken EUROALL SEASON AS220 PRO was specially designed to meet the requirements of high-performance vehicles in both the summer and the winter. The improved contour prevents deformation of the tread and compensates for centrifugal forces at high speeds, resulting in unbeatable road contact. This ensures outstanding driving stability and quick response during steering and braking manoeuvres, even at high speeds.
The Falken EUROWINTER HS02 has been on the market since 2022 and is now available in 68 different sizes from 14 to 20 inches in the 40 to 70 series. Depending on its size, the tyre has the speed index T/H or V and is therefore approved for speeds of up to 240 km/h. The Falken EUROWINTER HS02 PRO, which comes with a speed index of H/V/W depending on the size, is much faster, and allows for speeds of up to 270 km/h. This tyre is available in 85 sizes from 16 to 21 inches in the popular 35 to 70 series. The Falken EUROALL SEASON AS220 PRO is a true all-rounder, available in 46 dimensions from 17 – 21 inches in the 35 – 65 series, and it is also approved for speeds of up to 270 km/h.
