Falken is extending its "Falken sagt Tanke" campaign
Due to its popularity, Falken is extending its "Falken sagt Tanke" campaign in Germany and Austria by two weeks until 15 June 2019.
FALKEN is making preparations for THE TIRE COLOGNE and sends one of its Drift Team members to Cologne to scope out the location. The driver kicks off with a nail-biting race around the exhibition centre, speeding through imposing exhibition halls and car parks, before ending up on a multi-storey car park roof with stunning views of Cologne Cathedral. A dazzling display of the art of drifting follows, transforming the area of almost 10,000 sqm into a canvas while the car itself becomes the paintbrush. With Dutch drifting legend Remmo Niezen at the wheel, the 650-hp BMW Z4 roars over the car park roof with amazing precision, carefully outlining the logo of Tire Cologne on the concrete one ‘brushstroke’ at a time.
This is the content of a video produced at the end of last year by the tyre brand in partnership with exhibition promoters Koelnmesse, and now released on both companies’ social media channels. Packed with quick-fire camera shots, drone footage and unusual camera angles, the video is designed as a fun take on an image video for THE TIRE COLOGNE. “We’re delighted to have worked with FALKEN on this project, and we’re proud to present the international trade show for the tyre industry, held in Cologne for the first time, in this unusual and memorable way”, says Ingo Riedeberger, Director Koelnmesse GmbH.
