Falken strengthens its management team: Bettina Feldmann appointed COO

Februrary 2023 - Falken Tyre Europe GmbH has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Bettina Feldmann as chief operations officer (COO). Ms Feldmann began working in this new role on January 1st 2023 and is responsible for the operational business at Falken, which includes the Operations and Supply Chain Management divisions. She is therefore responsible for the entire process, from the procurement, logistics and warehousing, to the distribution to customers throughout Europe, as well as billing.

Bettina Feldmann has been working in the tyre industry for over twenty years and has excellent industry knowledge and wide-ranging experience in logistics, customer service and project management.

The position of COO in this form is new at Falken as among others, Markus Bögner was previously responsible for operational management in a dual role. As managing director, president and chief sales officer, Markus Bögner will now be able to increase his focus on the corporate and sales-specific management components as well as the strategic alignment of the company.

“We are very happy that we were able to appoint Ms Feldmann with her know-how, excellent industry knowledge and leadership qualities,” says Markus Bögner, commenting on her appointment. “Our customer service, supply chain and logistics teams in particular have grown very quickly in the course of our expansion in recent years. After all, we don’t just stand for an outstanding product range in the premium sector, our services are also excellent.”

The strengthening of the management team with Bettina Feldmann, who reports directly to Markus Bögner, is a further milestone in the creation of a strategic management tier which ensures Falken is well positioned for the challenges of the future.
