Falken’s 2026 tyre range expands to meet market demand

Falken Tyre Europe GmbH (Falken) is responding to Europe’s surging demand for electric vehicles and SUVs with an expanded summer tyre range for 2026. This shift is driving demand for larger tyres and higher load ratings needed for SUVs, the instant torque of an EV powertrain, all without compromising safety or comfort. “Consumer demand for EVs and SUVs is reshaping Europe’s automotive landscape and Falken is ready to meet that challenge,” said Marcus Schulz, Product Manager at Falken. “Our 2026 summer range has grown in the areas where we are noticing this growth, ensuring more of Europe’s drivers can rely on Falken’s safe, efficient and performant range – always backed by our five-year guarantee.”

SUVs now account for 54 per cent of new car sales in Europe1, while EV adoption continues to accelerate, with battery-electric vehicles reaching 17.5 per cent market share in the first half of 20252. Falken’s summer tyre lineup provides additional sizes for these increasing markets.

Leading Falken’s enhanced 2026 lineup is the Falken AZENIS FK520, now available in 16 new sizes, including six 22-inch fitments for premium SUVs. Covering rim diameters from 17 to 22 inches and widths from 215 to 325 mm, the FK520 retains its lightweight construction and Aramid reinforcement layer for efficiency and strength, all whilst delivering outstanding cornering and dry braking grip for SUVs and performance cars.

Catering to the strengthening EV and hybrid market as well as efficiency-conscious drivers, Falken’s Falken e. ZIEX’s range is growing. Now extended for 2026 with three new fitments for popular electric models such as the Renault Megane and Citroën C4, alongside OE fitment for the Audi Q6 e-tron, e. ZIEX supports the high demands of heavy, powerful, modern EVs while maintaining durability. An optimised tread pattern contour at the tyre shoulder is designed to distribute pressure evenly throughout the full tread width, lowering rolling resistance and thus reducing wear and enhancing the EV range.

Topping the enthusiast’s list is Falken AZENIS RS820, Falken’s UUHP (ultra-ultra-high-performance) is trusted as original equipment on the Audi S3 and is designed for sports and supercars such as the Porsche 911, Audi R8 and BMW M5. With technology derived from Falken’s successful racing programme at the Nürburgring, AZENIS RS820’s multifunctional tread compound and improved tyre shoulder design deliver outstanding lateral stability on dry roads and superb wet performance. The Falken ZIEX ZE320 rounds out the lineup - now in 61 sizes, delivering reliable all-around performance for everyday passenger cars. Convenient features for a broad range of customers, such as a noise-reducing tread design and lightweight casing, ensure a quieter, more efficient ride.
