Falken Tyre Europe continues its focus on football

Falken Tyre Europe will continue its fruitful partnerships with two top clubs; Borussia Mönchengladbach from Germany and Atlético Madrid from Spain for the upcoming season. Sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE initiated the original collaborations with the clubs and has acted as an intermediary for these latest extensions.

Falken previously secured the rights to be the "Official Tyre Partner" and "Premium Partner" of Borussia Mönchengladbach for the 2018/19 season and will continue this alliance once more this season. As the official tyre partner, Falken enjoys the rights to display its branding in prominent positions such as the logo walls during interviews, press conferences and other activations.

The cooperation with Spanish top club Atlético Madrid, which also started for the 2018/19 season, comprises a range of activations including branding at the club's home matches at the venerable "Civitas Metropolitano" stadium.

Both sponsorship packages include LED perimeter advertising as well as static boards, which will secure Falken television exposure across all core European markets.

"The cachet of these two clubs is highly impressive. We will continue to benefit from the far-reaching media presence and the associated coverage," says Markus Bögner, Managing Director, President & CSO, emphasizing the importance of the partnership.

Hendrik Schiphorst, Managing Director, SPORTFIVE Germany adds: "We have been working successfully with Falken Tyre Europe since 2015. These partnership extensions with top European clubs once again underline Falken’s role as an established player in the sport and these will further contribute to achieving the brand's communication objectives."
