Update on the EU Deforestation Regulation (EU-DR)

On December 30, 2025, the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) will come into effect. This new regulation aims to ensure that products such as tires imported into the EU come from demonstrably deforestation-free supply chains.

What does this mean for you as a Falken customer?

We have prepared early. Over the past months, our project team has worked intensively to test and implement all necessary processes. The result: Falken is ready. Starting in December, we can provide you with the relevant EUDR information for your deliveries – quickly, transparently, and reliably.

From December 30, 2025: EUDR becomes mandatory for all tire imports into the EU.

Falken has successfully tested and implemented processes.

Traceability for all our tyres ensured.

Current status of the regulation

In October, the EU Commission proposed adjustments, to facilitate implementation: simplified obligations for dealers, a six-month transition period for large companies, and relief for small and medium-sized businesses. The final decision is expected between December 15 and 18 in the EU Parliament. We will, of course, keep you informed.

What does this mean for you in practice?

You can rely on Falken to meet all legal requirements. Our goal is to make the transition as easy as possible for you – without additional effort for your processes.
