Falken Tyre Europe GmbH is seeking to strengthen staff loyalty even further by offering supplementary company health insurance. The supplementary insurance gives the Falken workforce private patient care in the event of illness, and the agreed company health insurance policy terms also cover the costs of a wide range of screening.
Speaking at a panel discussion held as part of the BKV Forum on 17 August 2022 in Marburg, Jürgen Steuer, Human Resources and General Affairs Manager at Falken Tyre Europe GmbH, concluded that pay is still the most important factor when choosing a new employer. "If the salary is right, and applicants have the choice of several employers, they then compare the benefits on offer", said Steuer, explaining the situation on the job market.
Alongside the working environment – which at Falken is all about team spirit, individuality, diversity and creative freedom – financial benefits above and beyond wages are extremely important. That is why Falken Tyre Europe GmbH has been offering supplementary private health insurance in partnership with Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG (DVAG) since April 2021.
Advisor Linus Mayer from DVAG sees in his daily work that policyholders realise the value of the company health insurance when a loss event occurs. DVAG statistics show that illness and accidents are part of life. It is important to ensure that employees understand this.
"This situation is exactly the reason why Falken invests in company insurance. If our employees are aware that Falken is paying for that important protection for accident, sickness and pensions, this has a positive impact on the culture at the company and signals to them that their employer is taking care of them", Jürgen Steuer adds.
Alongside supplementary company health insurance, Falken also offers its employees additional protection with company nursing care insurance cover and business and personal group accident cover. Only last year, Falken was awarded the "UFF" family-friendly business award in Offenbach.
The “Technical Support Guide for TBR and Bus Tyres” which Falken Tyre Europe GmbH published in English for its customers throughout Europe last summer is now available in several additional language versions. From now on, the popular guide for registered customers is available to download at both the B2B web shop and the media centre in the languages of English, German, Spanish, Polish, Italian and Greek.
