On 1st October 2021, Falken was one of 15 companies in Offenbach to receive the “UFF – Family-Friendly Company” award. The prize, which was presented by Dr Felix Schwenke, Mayor of Offenbach at the Capitol Offenbach, is awarded to companies which stand out due to their very good approach to ensuring a successful work / life balance. The jury of seven, whose members also included Dr. Inga Halwachs, Head of Offenbach Women’s Office and municipal Women’s and Equal Opportunities Officer, reserved special praise for the flexible working hours and the flexible “work from home” options available at Falken during the pandemic.
With their creative solutions for ensuring a good work / life balance, the companies presented with the prize serve as role models for the entire region, explained city councillor Gertrud Marx in her welcoming address.
“We are very proud to be awarded this prize,” said Jürgen Steuer, Manager Human Resources & General Affairs at Falken Tyre Europe GmbH. “Together, we want to live up to “Falken-Fam”, our name for the Falken family, during our everyday work. The well-being and satisfaction of our employees are always exceptionally important to us. To have this confirmed by a third party makes us particularly happy.”
The “UFF family-friendly company” award was launched in 2016 and is awarded every two years.

Falken Tyre Europe GmbH traditionally places considerable emphasis on social responsibility and diversity at the local level. In this context, as in previous years, Falken is once again supporting good causes in its local region and making five 1,000 euros donations to five charities in Offenbach.
Results from Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd’s (SRI) research into producing a sustainable and reliable alternative to natural rubber from tomato enzymes, for future car tyre applications, have rewarded the company with the coveted 2023 "Tire Technology international Award for Innovation and Excellence".
Falken Motorsports starts this year's Nürburgring Endurance Series season with a good result. Nico Menzel and Martin Ragginger crossed the finish line with their Porsche 911 GT3 R in ninth position overall.
