Advance information: Falken is adjusting its prices from January 2022 – and continuing to expand its services
Falken tyres are excellent value for money. This is evidenced by the tyre brand’s steadily growing share of the market and its numerous satisfied customers. Independent testing organisations also confirm this time and again: most recently, the Neue Reifenzeitung in a study and the Autozeitung, which gave the Falken AZENIS FK510 the ratings “Recommended” and “Value for money recommendation” at the start of the year.
In the last year and a half, a few challenges have turned global markets upside down. Increasing raw material prices, supply bottlenecks and increased transport costs are wide-reaching consequences of this upheaval. As a result of this, the prices for Falken and Sumitomo tyres will be adjusted from January 2022.
The structural list price adjustment is in the brand product groups
Falken
Summer - Cars, LTR/VAN and 4x4/SUV + 8.0%
All Season - Cars, LTR/VAN and 4x4/SUV + 9.0%
Winter - Cars, LTR/VAN and 4x4/SUV +10.0%
Commercial - Truck/Bus +12.0%
Sumitomo
Summer - Cars, LTR/VAN + 10.50%
Winter - Cars, 4x4/SUV + 10.50%
Furthermore, the company will expand its services with new hires, particularly in the fields of Customer Support and Sales, and thus ensure even better accessibility for its customers.
“We will continue to offer our premium tyres at more than fair prices,” commented Markus Bögner, COO and President of Falken Tyre Europe GmbH on the price increases. “In the second half of the year, we have absorbed the increased costs ourselves and abstained from increasing prices. However, anticipating further price increases, we will adjust our prices.”
