Making a statement together: Orange Days 2025

On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls, Falken Tyre Europe GmbH (Falken) is once again taking a stand against discrimination and abuse by illuminating the foyer of the City Tower in Offenbach in bright orange. With this, Falken aims to make it clear that violence against women has no place in society.

During the campaign period from November 25 to December 10, 2025, Falken has prepared something special for its employees: a reading. Under the title “Scars fade, but remain for a lifetime,” Udo Martens, a retired detective and former investigator with the Berlin State Criminal Police Office specialising in human trafficking and prostitution, will present his book. In it, he shares the moving stories of ten women who have experienced violence—domestic violence, stalking, or violence committed in the name of honor. Martens shows how these women found their way back to a self-determined life and what support helped them along the way. The reading will be moderated by Swantje Freifrau von Massebach, who will guide the afternoon and create space for discussion, context, and important perspectives.

“This is the fourth time that we are participating in the Orange Days—not only to send a symbolic message, but also to give a voice to people who all too often remain unheard. The event embodies, in a special way, respect for personality, individuality, and diversity—values that are firmly anchored in our self-image and therefore also in our Code of Conduct,” comments Jürgen Steuer, Manager Human Resources at Falken Tyre Europe GmbH, on the internal campaign.
