Falken premieres latest Nürburgring 24h film: ‘Expectations’

“Can you hear expectations?” The Nürburgring 24 Hours doesn’t hand out victories easily. It pushes you, punishes you and makes you wait, yet expectations remain. For 25 seasons, Falken Motorsports has arrived at the Nordschleife with the same goal: to win.

Our latest film, ‘Expectations’ – the 16th produced by motionctrl and Falken – tells the story of Falken’s weekend of high hopes, setbacks and unfinished business. It also focuses on Falken’s world-class drivers and the pressures they must withstand over the gruelling 24-hour period.

Shot during the 53rd edition of the Nürburgring 24 Hours, in Falken’s garages and across the legendary circuit’s many twists and turns, the film uncovers the determination of a team that refuses to stop chasing the dream.

Two separate film crews collected 18 hours of raw footage over the race weekend – multiple terabytes of data. Again Falken was given exclusive access to the Nordschleife for filming purposes, allowing the film crews to capture some truly cinematic shots.

Falken left its mark. The team remains more committed than ever before. “Expectations don’t fade. They’ll wait here next year. And that’s fine. Because so are we.”
