EQUIP AUTO PARIS 2022: Falken presents its current portfolio and is ready for e-mobility

From 18th – 22nd October 2022, with a 100 square metre booth, Falken is attending the EQUIP AUTO 2022 trade fair in Paris, France, where it will present several highlights from its wide range of tyres for passenger cars, SUVs, commercial vehicles and HGVs. Falken is owned by Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd., which is based in Japan and the fifth largest tyre maker in the world, with sales of over 116 million tyres per year.

The highlight will be a model of the first tyre developed especially for electric vehicles, the Falken “e.ZIEX”, which will be launched as the first after-market tyre for the vehicles segment in Europe for the 2023 summer season. In terms of energy efficiency, the Falken “e.ZIEX” will be one of the best tyres that the Sumitomo Group has ever developed and manufactured. Models of the new winter tyre from Falken, the Falken EUROWINTER HS02 and EUROWINTER HS02PRO, will be on display: while the EUROWINTER HS02 is a further development of the popular EUROWINTER HS01, Falken will also present the EUROWINTER HS02PRO for the first time – a winter tyre aimed at drivers of sports cars and SUVs.

Another highlight at the trade fair booth will be the new top-flight model, the Falken AZENIS FK520. This ultra-high-performance tyre is available since the spring and builds on the successes of its predecessor, the Falken AZENIS FK510. Another customer and test favourite will also be on show in Paris – the Falken ZIEX ZE310 ECORUN summer tyres.

Laurent Crampette, Sales Manager for France at Falken Tyre Europe GmbH comments: “Recent years have demonstrated how important EQUIP AUTO is as a platform, not only for presenting our premium products, but also for being able to explain and present the latest technologies and future projects in detail. I am looking forward to being able to meet with our partners and customers again after such a long break.”

FALKEN distributes additional products under the name “Sumitomo Tyres”. The second brand combines precision engineering and the highest quality at a reasonable price. A selection from the current Sumitomo Tyres portfolio will also be on show in Paris.

The Falken trade fair booth is located in Hall 2.1 with number A 055.
