The “Falken says tanks” campaign enters its tenth year
“Falken says tanks” - and continues to do so with ever-increasing success for the tenth year in a row. Also this spring, customers who decide to buy a set of Falken summer tyres starting from a size of 16 inches will receive a SHELL PREPAID CARD from Falken for refuelling and shopping with a value of twenty Euros as a bonus. Falken is also giving away prizes with a value of more than 10,000 Euros during the period of the campaign - from 15th March until 31 May 2021 - with prizes such as five POGA-LUX gaming cases, each including a Sony “PlayStation 5”, and one of forty SHELL fuel vouchers, each with a value of one hundred Euros.
The sales promotion is being supported with numerous communications measures at points of sale and with strong coverage in the TV and on the internet. For example, with targeted spots placed on the stations of the Seven One Group, or with advertising from screens shown at more than 400 Shell petrol stations nationwide during the campaign period. Both the participating retailers as well as their customers benefit from the campaign. By taking part, retailers secure numerous new customers in their shops, while the consumers benefit from the vouchers and chances to win.
“We launched the campaign in five European countries in 2011, and it quickly proved to be a success. In the peak years we had more than 15,000 participants in Germany and Austria alone. We have gradually increased the campaign team and put in on a professional footing,” says Markus Bögner, COO and President at Falken Tyre Europe GmbH, expressing his delight at the success. “The successful roll-out of the campaign in 15 countries clearly shows that we are on the right track in Europe.”
The fuel vouchers are available with purchases of a set of summer tyres from the AZENIS FK510, AZENIS FK510 SUV, LINAM VAN01, ZIEX ZE310 ECORUN, ZIEX ZE914, WILDPEAK A/T or SINCERA SN110 series in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Spain. The participating service stations and the amounts vary from country to country – partaking in the additional prize draws is not linked to the purchase of the summer tyres.
