Falken awarded second place in passenger car category at the 2019 and 2020 VRÖ Awards

Falken claimed second place in the passenger car category of the Austrian Tyre Dealers Association (VRÖ) Awards in 2019 and 2020. The tyre brand performed well in many areas of the judging criteria, including product quality, delivery speed and customer service. In addition, Falken placed well in the achievable trade margin, price, discount policy and product availability for both large and small order categories. Notably, the suppliers involved were rated on their level of support during the pandemic, too.

“We have all faced major challenges recently: energy surcharges, raw material and supply shortages are just a few of the key issues in our sector. I am pleased that we were again able to satisfy our customers with our products and services, particularly during the pandemic years. Even in the most severe lockdowns, we always offered our customers the best service and accessibility. My thanks go to the members of VRÖ for their trust, to my team in Austria, and to the service team in Offenbach, Germany, who always offer strong levels of support,” said Günther Riepl, Falken’s senior sales director, central-east Europe, when asked about the brand’s performance in the VRÖ Awards.
