Technical Support for TBR and BUS tyres from Falken now available in several languages

The “Technical Support Guide for TBR and Bus Tyres” which Falken Tyre Europe GmbH published in English for its customers throughout Europe last summer is now available in several additional language versions. From now on, the popular guide for registered customers is available to download at both the B2B web shop and the media centre in the languages of English, German, Spanish, Polish, Italian and Greek.

Falken ready for the 24-hour marathon in the Green Hell

Falken’s parent company Sumitomo Rubber Joins GDSO to align with industry standards for tyre traceability

Falken’s parent company Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. (SRI) is pleased to announce it has joined GDSO (the Global Data Service Organisation for Tyres and Automotive Components), an international not-for-profit organisation working to standardise data related to tyres and define solutions for accessing and exchanging tyre data. The tyre industry has been working to establish individual tyre identification and management starting with truck and bus tyres. As a member of GDSO from January 2023, the Sumitomo Rubber Group will be working to further these efforts while aligning with industry standards.

Falken extends ‘fill up’ winter fuel voucher campaign

Falken is extending its hugely popular winter fuel voucher campaign until December 15th. Launched in September, the 2022 “Falken says fill up” winter campaign, rewards customers in all 12 existing markets with a fuel voucher, which can be spent on fuel or in-store goods.

Sumitomo Rubber Industries wins “Tire Technology of the Year Award” for “Performance Sustaining Technology”

Falken Tyres’ parent company Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd (SRI) has won the “Tire Technology of the Year Award” at the Tire Technology International Awards for Innovation and Excellence. SRI’s “Performance Sustaining Technology”, which makes use of hydrogenated polymer to extend tyre life, was recognised at the event in Hannover, with the award presented to Dr Bernd Löwenhaupt, SRI Europe’s managing director.
