Falken is a sponsor of the Kickers Offenbach national football academy

Offenbach, October 18th, 2024 - Based in Offenbach, Falken stands for high-performance tyres – so it is logical to sponsor the O.F.C. Kickers 1901 e.V. national football academy, which is located in the immediate vicinity of Falken.

The Kickers Offenbach national football academy is one of nine in the regional league. Nationwide, there are 58 national academies, which are divided into three categories. The OFC national academy is located in category two.

In close cooperation with a DFB youth academy in Frankfurt am Main, a partner school in Offenbach and another partner school in Obertshausen, talented young players are offered the very best sports and school education. With the aim of not only promoting their sporting talent but also their social and educational skills. Individual players from the OFC youth teams have gone on to gain an excellent reputation as national players, one prominent example is the multiple national player and later coach Rudi Völler, or more recently Denis Huseinbasic.

“With Falken’s commitment, we want to professionalise and further advance the newly created structures in our national academy. In doing this, we are mainly focussing on social and sporting issues such as sports psychology, integration and athletics, which we can further improve thanks to Falken’s commitment, enabling young talent to receive the very best education in all areas. We are proud to be able to call our training centre Falken Leistungszentrum Kickers Offenbach in future,” says Wencke Bongartz, the director of the national academy.

Falken receives extensive advertising opportunities, such as the right to name the national academy “Falken Leistungszentrum”. In addition, Falken will present itself with a logo on various platforms such as the OFC website, social media channels and grounds, as well as on the national academy’s training and match pitches.

“As a company that pursues the highest performance standards, we strive to promote promising young talent and offer them specific better opportunities. The Offenbach Kickers national academy embodies the values of a performance brand and is therefore a perfect fit for us. Our commitment also emphasises our deep attachment to the region and at the same time strengthens our local presence,” comments Markus Bögner, Managing Director, President & CSO of Falken Tyre Europe GmbH.
