This year, Falken is launching the most comprehensive range of tyres in the company's history: truck, EV, ultra, ultra-ultra high performance, motorsport and off-road tyres – Falken offers its dealers and consumers tyres for every occasion.
The extensive portfolio includes the brand new Falken AZENIS RS820, developed for the most powerful cars. Falken's developers have consistently utilised their extensive motorsport experience and the outstanding technological capabilities of Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd. to develop an excellent high-performance product ready for series production. The AZENIS RS820 will initially be produced in 38 sizes in the 30 to 45 series with diameters of 19 to 21 inches for speeds of up to 300 km/h. Barely on the market, the Falken AZENIS RS820 has already been nominated “Tyre of the Year” by the Tire Technology International Awards for Innovation and Excellence.
With an increase in size of 17 dimensions, the Falken e. ZIEX is available in a total of 28 dimensions this season. The Falken e. ZIEX is tailor-made for the requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles and is one of the best in terms of energy efficiency, noise emissions and rolling resistance that Falken has to offer in its extensive portfolio. On the market since 2023, the tyre has not only delighted satisfied customers, but also convinced independent testers, most recently achieving the rating “very good” in the AMS summer tyre test.
The Falken AZENIS FK520 also achieved a very good result in the same test: according to the AMS testers, its strengths include its safety-relevant, good grip in the wet, its practical, safe dry handling and its quiet, comfortable rolling. This popular UHP summer tyre is now available in sizes ranging from 205/40 R18 (86Y) XL to 325/30 R21 (108Y) XL in addition to the previous selection. Five further dimensions are to be added to the programme in the spring.
With the EUROALL SEASON AS220 PRO, Falken has been offering an outstanding product in the all-season tyre category especially for performance-oriented vehicles since last year. The asymmetrically designed tread of the quiet and comfortable rolling tyre with dynamic handling is available in 45 sizes with diameters of 17 to 21 inches and cross-sections of 35 to 65 per cent with speed indexes V (up to 240 km/h) and W (up to 270 km/h).
Falken has another model in its portfolio for demanding terrain: with the WILDPEAK R/T 01, Falken has the ideal product for every off-road challenge. When developing the R/T01, the engineers had the toughest applications in mind and therefore gave it a corresponding tread design and structure – for maximum performance on the most difficult terrain. Available in nine dimensions with a diameter of 16 to 20 inches in the 75, 70, 65, 60 and 55 series for up to 160 km/h (speed symbol Q). As a “professional off-road tyre” (POR), the WILDPEAK R/T01 does not have any other EU tyre label markings.
Last but not least, Falken is completing its range of van tyres. The robust summer tyre for light commercial vehicles LINAM VAN01 is available in 37 sizes in the 55 - 82 series in 12 - 17 inch sizes. The LINAM VAN01 is designed for speeds of up to 210 km/h. This also applies to the all-season version of the van tyre, the Falken EUROALL SEASON VAN11, which is marked with the snowflake symbol as an all-season tyre suitable for winter and is available in an impressive 23 sizes in the 55 to 75 series with diameters of 14 to 17 inches. Its outstanding durability and safety can therefore benefit numerous commercial vehicles.
This year Falken Tyre Europe GmbH is continuing its commitment to local institutions in Offenbach and is donating almost 6,000 euros in total. The donations will benefit four important initiatives that are actively involved in the areas of sport, social affairs and education and make an invaluable contribution to the community in the city of Offenbach.
Tyres for electric and hybrid vehicles have to satisfy special requirements: they should offer low rolling resistance, guarantee optimum traction on all surfaces and be able handle heavy loads at the same time. The Falken tyres meet these requirements. Since May 2023 and November 2023, Falken Tyre Europe has been supplying its e. ZIEX AO model in the 235/65R18 H XL and 255/60R18 H XL sizes to the Audi plant in Ingolstadt, where the successful AUDI Q6 e-tron is currently leaving the production lines.
Falken Tyre Europe GmbH will be making changes to its management team for January 2025: Thomas Langer will be taking over as Sales Director Germany Replacement at Falken. Thomas Langer began his career at Falken in 2010 as a sales representative for the region of Bavaria and Saxony/Thuringia and has been responsible for southern Germany as regional sales manager since 2018.
