Tomohiko Masuta appointed managing director of Falken and Sumitomo Rubber Europe
Tomohiko Masuta has assumed the position of managing director of both Falken Tyre Europe GmbH and Sumitomo Rubber Europe GmbH.
More than 80 million viewers worldwide have followed the 200 broadcasts, on approximately 80 TV channels, of the now legendary AUDI NINES, the sponsorship of which Falken has taken on this year once again, thereby becoming one of the main sponsors of the legendary event as a presenting partner. Not only have the regional media from Austrian and Swiss television continuously reported on this event, which took place from 7th - 10th April 2021 in Crans-Montana/Switzerland, but also leading broadcasters such as BBC One and BBC Worldwide.
Falken has now been one of the sponsors of this amazing sporting event for three years, and has successively built on its commitment. This year, some 32 top athletes from 14 countries demonstrated their breathtaking snowboarding and skiing skills on the snow slopes which were prepared especially for the event. With the top performances demonstrated by the athletes on the slopes, more than 2,000 related posts were rapidly created on the ever-dominant Instagram account alone, with a reach of around 200 million contacts.
