Falken Motorsports battles for victory in the 24h race at the Nürburgring

The highlight of the year is coming up for Falken Motorsports this weekend (May 30 to June 2, 2024): The Japanese tire brand's racing team will be battling for the coveted overall victory at the legendary ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring. After three victories in the first four races of the year, Falken Motorsports is one of the top favorites on the Nordschleife: Julien Andlauer, Klaus Bachler, Sven Müller and Alessio Picariello as well as Joel Eriksson, Tim Heinemann, Nico Menzel and Martin Ragginger will take turns at the wheel of the two teal-and-blue Porsche 911 GT3 R (992).

The start to the motorsport year has never been more successful for Falken Motorsports: In the first four races of the Nordschleife season, more precisely in the Nürburgring Endurance Series and the ADAC 24h Qualifiers, the Japanese tire brand celebrated a total of three victories. Therefore, expectations are high that Falken Motorsports will also be in contention for overall victory in the most important race of the year, the 52nd edition of the 24h race at the Nürburgring. The Falken tires have worked well this year and impressively demonstrated that they are ideally suited to the demanding challenges of the Green Hell.

What's more, the two teal-and-blue Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) are well equipped for the traditional endurance classic in the Eifel: Julien Andlauer will drive the Falken Porsche #33 together with Klaus Bachler, Sven Müller and Alessio Picariello. Joel Eriksson, Tim Heinemann, Nico Menzel and Martin Ragginger will fight for the coveted overall victory in the Falken Porsche #44.

The qualifying sessions will already take place on Thursday, where Falken Motorsports can once again fine-tune the two Porsche. The times are no longer important, because thanks to the strong results in the races so far, both cars have already secured their place for the important top qualifying ahead of time. On Friday (May 31st) at 5:30 pm, it will be decided who will start from pole position at the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring. The starting signal for the endurance classic will be given on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 4 pm.

The TV channel NITRO will broadcast the spectacle from Saturday, June 1 at 2:45 pm until Sunday, June 2 at 4:45 pm - a full 26 hours of live coverage! Falken will also be providing further information on its social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and the website).
