The Green Hell is calling: Falken Motorsports is ready for the season opener of the Nürburgring Endurance Series

Falken Motorsports will kick off the new Nordschleife season next weekend: The two teal-and-blue Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) will contest the first two races of the year at the season opener of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). Alessio Picariello, Joel Eriksson and Martin Ragginger will take the wheel of the Porsche on both days, while Tim Heinemann and Nico Menzel will each tackle one race. The Japanese tyre brand, which is also one of the official partners of the popular championship, has its sights set on overall victory at the season opener on the legendary Nordschleife.

This year's Nürburgring Endurance Series season begins with a "double-header", two races on one weekend: The 64th ADAC ACAS Cup, the first race of the season, takes place on Saturday (6 April), before the action resumes on Sunday (7 April) at the 63rd ADAC Reinoldus Endurance Race. Both races will cover a distance of four hours, with Falken Motorsports keeping an eye on overall victory on both Saturday and Sunday. However, the focus is on collecting data and preparing for the big highlight of the season, the ADAC Ravenol 24-hour race at the Nürburgring on 1st and 2nd June 2024.

Falken Motorsports is sending a strong line-up to the "Green Hell" for this year's season opener of the Nürburgring Endurance Series: The Falken Porsche with starting number 3 will be driven by Alessio Picariello and Martin Ragginger on both race days, while Joel Eriksson will be at the wheel of the turquoise-blue Porsche with starting number 4 for the entire weekend. The Swede will be supported by Nico Menzel in the first race of the year, before Tim Heinemann takes over on Sunday. The three other Falken drivers, Julien Andlauer, Klaus Bachler and Sven Müller, will be involved in the rest of the season and in the ADAC Ravenol 24h Race.

Falken Motorsports would like to build on last year's successful Nordschleife season in 2024: The team celebrated a commanding overall victory in the ROWE 6h ADAC Ruhr Cup race, followed by further podium finishes and several top-five results. The omens for the new season are also very good thanks to the experience from the previous year: the 2024 season will be the second year in which Falken Motorsports will use the current 911 GT3 R from the 992 series. The drivers and team are confident that they will be able to compete for the top positions right from the start of the Nürburgring Endurance Series.
