The tyre brand Falken, which belongs to Dunlop Tyre Europe GmbH has been selected as one of three finalists for the inaugural Service Award. Presented by the Federal Association of Tyre Retailers and Tyre Repairers (BRV, Bonn), this new award recognises those in the tyre industry who, from the retail sector’s perspective in the passenger car/light commercial vehicle tyre segment, stand out for exceptional service and a trust-based partnership.
Between 11 March and 15 April, BRV members were invited to rate their top partners in an online vote. The evaluation considered, among other criteria, experiences relating to delivery performance, meeting deadlines, ordering and logistics processes, commercial terms, customer service and sales support, as well as marketing and training programmes.
After more than 250 member companies were surveyed, Falken was selected to be a finalist for the Service Award - a strong endorsement from the specialist tyre trade.

The award ceremony will take place on 8 June, 2026, during the BRV General Meeting in Cologne, when the overall winner will be announced.

Falken Motorsports continues to be plagued by bad luck in the 2026 season of the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). At the 1st ADAC Eifel Trophy, the sixth race of the season on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the teal-and-blue No. 44 Porsche 911 GT3 R had to be retired shortly before the end of the race despite a convincing performance. Klaus Bachler and Tim Heinemann had been running in third place overall up to that point and were well on their way to a well-deserved podium finish.
