Falken Motorsports once again goes for overall victory in the Nürburgring Endurance Series
October, 9th, 2024 - Falken Motorsports enters the final phase of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) with the 55th Adenauer ADAC Rundstrecken-Trophy. After the retirement of both Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) at the last race due to weather conditions, the team is once again aiming for overall victory. The Falken Drift Team will also be offering spectacular taxi rides in the paddock.
Drivers Alessio Picariello and Klaus Bachler in the number 3 car and Joel Eriksson and Tim Heinemann in the number 4 car are highly motivated to make up for their disappointing retirement in the last race. Both cars had to retire early in heavy rain, but the team's record this season is still impressive: four overall victories - two in the NLS and two in the ADAC 24h Qualifiers - underline the performance of the team and their high-performance tires. A fifth victory would be the crowning glory of a successful season on the legendary Nordschleife.
In addition to its sporting ambitions, Falken is also demonstrating its social commitment: as part of the event, spectators can do something good by taking a ride with the Falken Motorsports drift professionals. The proceeds from the tickets sold will go entirely into the donation pot, which will benefit those injured in the explosion in the paddock at the last NLS race.
The race over a distance of four hours starts on Saturday, October 19, at 12 noon. Qualifying starts at 8:30 am, followed by a pit walk at 10:20 am and access to the starting grid at 11:10 am.
