‘A Monument to the Art of Racing’ secures the Best Event Film at International Motor Film Awards

Falken’s latest film, "A Monument to the Art of Racing" has won the coveted International Motor Film Award in the category "Best Event Film" at this year’s prestigious ceremony. Falken thus joins the league of the best and most renowned films from Porsche, Bentley and NASCAR. The grand unveiling of the winners of the award took place last night at the famous Alexandra Palace in London.

The award-winning film was created in collaboration with Motionctrl and Tobias Kahler and was the latest Falken’s successful 24h race film series with him. Released in June, the movie follows the 2023 Nürburgring 24-hour race and delves deep into the emotions of the drivers and the entire motorsport team. For this, Falken collected over twenty hours of raw footage during the race week in May 2023.

"It's great to receive this award, especially against some truly competitive entries," says Dennis Wilstermann, assistant manager at Falken Tyre Europe GmbH. "The award recognises the best in the world of automotive cinematography. Congratulations to everyone but especially Tobias Kahler and his talented team."
