Falken Motorsports caps off an outstanding season with overall victory in the NLS Speed Trophy

October, 21st, 2024 - Falken Motorsports has claimed first place in the NLS Speed Trophy, with its #4 Porsche 911 GT3 R topping the standings ahead of the Manthey Porsche and a Mercedes-AMG GT3. Meanwhile, Falken’s second entry, the #3 Porsche, claimed an impressive fourth place in the overall rankings – further underscoring Falken’s dominance in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS).

The NLS Speed Trophy recognises the fastest cars across the NLS and ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifier events, with eligibility granted to teams that achieve top 20 finishes in the overall standings of these races. Throughout the season, Falken Motorsports consistently delivered exceptional performances, culminating in a total of five overall victories.

The season began on a high note for the #4 Porsche 911 GT3 R with Nico Menzel and Joel Eriksson clinching victory in the opening NLS race. Tim Heinemann and Sven Müller extended this success with a win in the Saturday race of the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifier. The following day, Falken Motorsports celebrated another triumph, this time with Nico Menzel and Martin Ragginger at the helm.

The #3 Porsche also demonstrated remarkable form. Julien Andlauer and Sven Müller claimed victory in the third NLS race, while Klaus Bachler and Alessio Picariello showcased the team’s dominance with a commanding win in the fifth NLS outing – finishing over five minutes ahead of the competition.

With the NLS Speed Trophy title, five overall wins and multiple podium finishes, Falken Motorsports concluded the most successful season in the team’s history.

After Falken Motorsports impressed with a strong second-place finish overall at the season opener of the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), the No. 44 Porsche 911 GT3 R was denied the necessary racing luck in the third round of the season, the 57th Adenauer ADAC Circuit Trophy: Klaus Bachler and Benjamin Leuchter were forced to retire the teal-and-blue crowd favorite early due to a issue after a promising start and thus did not see the checkered flag.

Falken Motorsports has made an impressive start to the new motorsports season: At the 58th ADAC Barbarossa Prize - which was originally scheduled to be the second round of the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) but now served as the season opener following last weekend’s cancellation - Sven Müller and Tim Heinemann secured third place overall in the No. 44 Porsche 911 GT3 R. The team is thus seamlessly building on the strong performances of last season.
