Falken Motorsports celebrates a double victory at the start of the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series

The morning qualifying session already showed that the first race of the year would not be an easy undertaking. Despite dry conditions, incidents and long yellow periods prevented fast lap times, meaning that the two Falken Porsches only started the race from eleventh and fifteenth place. The Eifel showed its unpredictable side before the start of the race: a sudden downpour turned the Nordschleife into a slippery challenge before the start of the race.

Falken Motorsports opted to start on rain tires - a choice that turned out to be suboptimal. Müller and Menzel headed for the pits after the first lap to switch to slicks. This decision paid off. As the track got drier, the Falken-Porsche showed the potential of the slick tires and continuously worked their way forward with impressive lap times.

The race developed into an internal duel between the teal and blue cars. At times, the two Porsches drove bumper to bumper on the legendary race track, demonstrating not only their performance but also the team's perfect set-up. Before the halfway point of the race, they took the lead all the way to the finish. Even a final fuel stop and tire change shortly before the end of the race did not jeopardize their well-deserved success: after more than four hours of racing, the two Falken Porsches were separated by just a few seconds.

With this impressive one-two victory, Falken Motorsports set a clear exclamation mark for the season and showed that the team is well prepared for the challenges ahead. The next test is scheduled for April 26 at the ADAC Ruhrpott Trophy, where the team will continue its testing work for the prestigious 24-hour race at the Nürburgring.
