Falken scores first on track success with customer race teams at the Nürburgring
First class win for Max Kruse Racing on its debut on Falken highlights ability to switch easily and be competitive with AZENIS race tyres
Falken Tyre Europe has established a new affiliate programme and support network for its wholesalers and retailers. ‘Falken Zone’ launched in July 2020 in Italy, Spain and Greece – the brand’s key southern European markets – with plans to roll out the new network in other European countries.
Through the network, Falken intends to make sales conditions more attractive for retailers with commercial support that spans digital purchasing schemes, promotions at point of sale and incentive programmes. Alongside, a marketing support package will help with everything from point of sale through to innovative digital support tools and the complete customisation of stores.
As Europe begins to move again, sales are expected to increase, coinciding with Falken resuming its participation in the NLS championship and its countdown to the Nürburgring 24h-Race in September.
As the European affiliate of Japanese tyre manufacturer Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd., the fifth largest tyre manufacturer in the world, Falken has experienced strong and consistent growth in its original equipment business. With Falken Zone it wishes to mark a new era of improved collaboration with distributors and retailers with the aim of improving consistency and results.
